Overview
It was the first golf club in the Mediterranean, one of the oldest in Africa, the oldest in Morocco, founded in 1914. Initially the course was modified by renowned British architects Cotton and Pennink. Later on, in 2001, the course was renovated by Peter Harradine. Located in the heart of the city centre, the 18-hole, 70 par, 6671 yard course is golfers favourite because of its natural and authentic ambience. On January 1st, 2018 The Royal Golf of Tangier was declared a National Heritage.
