Overview

The 9 hole, 35 par, 2965 yard golf course was officially inaugurated in 1971. It is located above Trashi Chhoe Dzong. In the late 1960, Resident Indian Brigadier General TV Jaganathan started constructing few holes of the course as soon as he got permission from King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Till now this is the only golf course in Bhutan.
